Project Description
The Saint Gastro Bar & Social House is a Soho dining experience that serves up gastro-pub fare in the heart of Hong Kong offering a laid-back dining experience in a polished environment. The menu is refreshingly simple, with a concise selection of classic British favourites.
The symbol of the faun – a reference to Pan & other figures in Celtic folklore - was a request of EHG’s Managing Director. The fact that Pan ruled over shepherds and hunters is reflected in The Saint’s gastro bar menu concept, while him often being in the company of wood nymphs and other deities of the forest is tied to the ‘Social House’. To make the faun more quintessentially British we gave him a Homburg hat, made famous by Winston Churchill.
My team and I created the logo and overall brand identity. The design, which is playful, whimsical, and casual, was designed to communicate the brand’s casual neighbourhood bistro vibe.
Menus, signage, shop/business cards, advertisements, website, branded greaseproof basket liner & napkins, stickers, launch party invitations were all specifically designed for the brand, along with other marketing collaterals and press releases.
