Project Description
EHG’s first chef-driven concept, Porterhouse by Laris [PBL] is a contemporary, upscale steakhouse drawing inspiration from ‘the classic steakhouse’ but boasting a menu that goes beyond steak, providing international cuisine with a carefully crafted wine list. David Laris is Chef & Chief Creative Officer of Cachet Hotels and his name has become synonymous with the constant shaping and redefining of the food and beverage industry in China.
Prior to launch, we received the early stages of an incomplete brand identity which my team and I reimagined into modern reinterpretation exuding simplicity, elegance & sophistication. The newly reinvented brand identity involved numerous applications: elevator screens, lift buttons, menus, entry signage, business & shop cards, marketing collaterals, advertising, stationery, e-signatures, coasters, stickers, food tags and merchandise [umbrella].
A brand with character driven by a chef with an abundance of personality, I – in close collaboration with an external PR agency – embarked on an out of the box PR & Marketing strategy with the launch of #MeatMeAtPorterhouse digital campaign with three different artful sometimes seductive black & white brand story videos, one #AskLaris: Fast & Curious video, and one Definitive Grand Opening [post event[ video with resulting in 77,300 total views.
